Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a Dental Assisting Instructional Aide (0.2FTE) to join the team at our Center of Technology, Essex (CTE) beginning in the 24/25 school year. This position assists the instructor with daily operations of the dental assisting program clinical, laboratory, and administrative areas. As well as instruct students in appropriate skills. 

Pay: $19.75+ based on experience

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• Two to four years of relevant college study, and relevant experience in a variety of dental procedures, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
• Holds a CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or a TDA (Traditional Dental Assistant).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• The ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry may be required.
• Good basic computer skills and experience with word processing programs are required.
• Willingness and ability to obtain First aid and CPR training.
• The ability to show patience, respect, and compassion in working with students
