Essex Westford School District (EWSD) is seeking Bus Aides to join the team EWSD Transportation team. This position rides the bus on assigned routes and assists the bus driver in managing student behavior and safety while on the bus.

Candidates with the following additional qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• Effectively able to manage student behavior issues in a calm and respectful manner; well-skilled at de-escalation strategies.
• Good communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adolescents with special needs, and a desire to work with this population.
• First aid and CPR training and additional relevant health service training or experience desired but not required.
