Essex Westford School District (EWSD) is seeking a Long-Term Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) Substitute at Essex Elementary School to cover a leave of absence starting March 3rd through June. This position involves directing services and instruction development to children with developmental delays, autism, and other disability areas in an inclusive small group and 1:1 setting; evaluating speech and language for the same; and case management of cases appropriately aligned with an SLP.

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
- Hold (or be eligible to hold) a valid VT Educator license with a Speech Language Pathologist endorsement (0-84).
- Certificate of Clinical Competency-Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with elementary school-aged youth is strongly desired.
- Excellent teaching, organizational, planning, written and oral communication, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to the success of ALL students, and ability to understand and support the various learning styles of students.
- Ability to effectively engage students at the elementary school level.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the student population being served and how demographic variables impact student achievement, and effectively use this knowledge to design and deliver instruction.
